Principle
Declared invariants must remain inspectable across a declared transformation domain. The principle establishes the question; it does not establish a universal law or guarantee system stability.
Role in the architecture
The principle supplies the normative and conceptual condition for the research architecture: symbolic and causal commitments should be stated in a form that can be checked for preservation, status and violation.
Status boundary
This is a research framing. It is not evidence that every system preserves its commitments, that every transformation is governed, or that the proposed technical class is irreducible.
Three inspection conditions
Declared relation
The invariant is explicit, scoped and checkable rather than implied by rhetoric.
Transformation domain
The operations across which preservation is expected are named.
Evidence boundary
Observed, documented, inferred and not evidenced remain distinct states.
Non-claim: A declared principle is not implementation evidence. A specification, review or audit does not by itself enforce an effect.
